We’re seeing the trend of the naughty dominatrix popping up in our fashion recently and the accessory that seems to have accompanied it is the lace mask. The lace mask has waved in and out of fashion for years, but it never seems to get old. The look was spotted on Jason Wu and Chanel runways and always makes it into a magazine spread or two for fall.
We love the look, but can this really work out off the runway? Think more so along the lines of a fascinator with a blusher veil. Part Mad Men, part vixen. Also consider lace headbands as a nice compromise. If nothing else, hold a masquerade party and sport a lace mask anyway you want to.
