Summary: “She’s a Rainbow” is the perfect quote from the Rolling Stone. Nothing else can better describe Jenny Packham‘s Spring 2012. The collection was inspired by the gleaming skies of opal whites and azure blues, painted with lavish glittering brush strokes and arresting vivid rainbow hues. Dramatic arrays of colorful blooms spray the collection with vibrant crystal petals, twinkling like phosphorescence on a hot summer night.
Personally, I love all the pieces of the show. The light glistening of crystals on each dress brought a dream-like atmosphere to the model. The pin straight hair and ruby red lips helped bring out the light of the dresses by complementing them without overpowering. Though all of the embellishments seemed like they could be heavy, as the models walked, they looked as if they were floating on air. Expect to see many of these dresses on the red carpet soon.
