Outfit Of The Day for October 6, 2011. Running Out To Play!

October 6, 2011 • Fashion Blog, Outfit Of The Day

We are having extraordinary weather in Chicago this week. It has been sunny with a high in the 70s! It makes me want to go out and play, or at least keep it simple so I can run around today! I put on a pair of Earl cropped jeans, a white long sleeve T-shirt and this Smythe jacket that I keep throwing on over everything. The thing I like about this jacket is even though it has the sleeves are tacked up to 3/4 in that  trendy way, the cuffs and buttons on the jacket are all finished.  So if I ever get sick of looking like Don Johnson, I can simply take down the sleeves and it will be like having a new jacket, and one  that I can keep wearing for years! I didn’t have time for accessorizing today, so this fun Cynthia Rowley leopard print haircalf bag with bright red handles can get all the attention.

Jacket: Smythe Black Jacket from Intermix, no loner available. But I’d like to have this Helmut Lang Smoking Wool Blazer $575, too!

Top: Rebecca Beason White Long Sleeve Tshirt, similar to this Frenchi® Long Sleeve Scoop Neck Tee (Juniors) in White, $26

Jeans: Earl Jeans, no longer available. The cut on these Piazza Sempione Cropped Denim Jeans, $450 is similar.

Handbag: Cynthia Rowley Leopard Print Haircalf Bag, no longer available. Find this Steven by Steve Madden Animal Print Calf Hair Tote $248 with red handles.

Shoes: Jean Michel Cazabat Oxfords, no longer available. These Prada Laceless Oxfords, $690 are really cool.
