This evening I am attending the Vert Couture Eco-fashion Show & Benefit at the tent at Millennium Park. It is one of the headlining Fashion Focus Chicago 2011 shows. So to get in the spirit of the event, I decided to wear one of my recycled jackets that I made from menswear pieces and hardware I found in re-sale shops. I can even say that it was re-purposed: the new purpose is now it’s a jacket for women to wear to parties! My basic black turtleneck shell and pants are both Cynthia Rowley. I have had them for probably 10 years and do I recycle them – over and over again!
