Last week, like most weeks in New York, some fabulous shopping destinations opened their doors for the first time. One of the most notable of these new options was Denim Habit, a Philadelphia favorite that has just landed in Manhattan. Boasting of the moment styles in both women’s wear and premium denim, Denim Habit is being slated as the next “go to” specialty denim and fashion destination for stylish shoppers all of over the country. Halston Heritage, Dylan Alexa, Joie, Patterson J. Kincaid and Feel The Pieces are just a few of the top brands that can be found in the store’s sleek and glossy walls. In addition to fashionable designers, Denim Habit carries the greatest range of designer denim brands, including AG, DL1961, Henry & Belle, Hudson and J. Brand.
“We are very excited to bring the Denim Habit brand to the world stager that is the Meat Packing District in New York. We see this as an obvious and crucial step in growing Denim Habit into a national and eventually a global brand, in both the brick and mortar and online spaces,” said Wayne Shulick, President / COO of Denim Habit.
We were on hand for the Denim Habit grand opening party in the Meatpacking District, which turned out to be quite the star-studded affair. DJ Structure spun his funked out tunes as shoppers perused the store’s collection which extended far beyond the realm of jeans. Elizabeth and James tunics and billowing tops from Georgie included some standout separates, as well as bags from Beirn, dresses by Ella Moss and sunglasses by Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow.
And the clothes weren’t the only things to ogle that night. Actress Emma Roberts was a special guest, along with former American Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis and fellow actress Kaylee Defer. All in all it was a warm welcome to the neighborhood for NYC’s newest style junction, Denim Habit!
