The 5th Annual Latino Fashion Week kicked off last night! It runs all this week through Sunday, November 6th. This event “By Latinos, For Everyone,” will include runway shows, celebrity appearances, VIP parties, and a three-day Fashion Lounge and Expo. This year’s theme “Art In Fashion” honors the concept that fashion is art. All events are at the Zhou B. Art Center, which is running a fabulous art exhibit called “CelebrARTE” during Latino Fashion Week.
Last night’s event, Designer’s Muse, was hosted by the bubbly Valerie Warner of “Windy City Live” on WLSTV ABC-7. A runway show featured local Latino designers including, Jacqueline Amezcua, Gogo, Karol Andrea Barrero, Que Shebley and Zoe Damacela.
