Cavalli’s Got Accessories
The Roberto Cavalli Group is launching a new “CLASS Roberto Cavalli” accessories line. The Florence-based company has inked a five-year licensing deal with Compagnia delle Pelli for the production of both men’s and women’s bags and small leather goods collections for its Class brand, a high-end label under the group’s umbrella.
Starting from fall 2012, the new accessories will be available in the brand’s flagship stores and in specialty boutiques across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Katy Perry’s New Fragrance is Here
What’s another fragrance name to follow Katy Perry‘s “Meow”? How about “Purr”? Real original, huh? “It’s a sister fragrance,” Perry said. “Purr to me was a little bit more floral, and Meow is a little bit more sweet.” The scent will be carried in Nordstrom’s 115 full-line stores, as well as on nordstrom.com, starting in mid-November. Cheri Botiz, national beauty and fragrance director for Nordstrom, noted that the retailer was anxious to stock Meow given a “great customer response” to Purr. “Everything about Meow embodies Katy’s fun, spirited energy,” she said. Nordstrom will begin a presale of the fragrance today.
Stars Coming for Versace for H&M
Only Versace could do it big for H&M. On the Tuesday before the Versace for H&M release, New York will have a star studded performance from Prince and Nicki Minaj. “I am so pleased to share with so many the excitement of this collaboration with H&M,” said Donatella Versace. “To have my friend, the great, the amazing, the one and only Prince, and the extraordinary Nicki Minaj both perform at the event, will create exactly the feeling of joy and glamour I want this partnership to express.” Perhaps given the collaborative nature of the evening, a duet will be in order.
