Elda De la Rosa and Barbara Keisman hosted a trunk show on Sunday at the “Made in Chicago” Pop Up Store on Grand Avenue. Whether shopping for the latest in couture from De la Rosa or casual chic from Keisman, you were sure to find an item to your liking.
Several of De la Rosa’s devoted clients showed up to buy holiday gowns and dresses off the rack, while a few placed custom orders. Bright red dresses merrily draped on the hangers as fashionistas took a glimpse of couture at its finest. If a fancy gown isn’t in your budget you can still grab a stocking stuffer or small gift for a friend – check out De la Rosas’s handmade silk flower pins, they add that extra pizzazz to any dress or suit.
Keisman’s clients bought up her extra soft, cotton pullovers and hoodies that are favorites for weekend attire. Ranging in color from turquoise to black or navy, they are gifts that are sure to satisfy those friends on your gift list.
The “Made in Chicago” Pop Up Store (located at 44 E. Grand Ave.) sponsored by the AIBI, will remain open until December 31, 2011. For additional information, please call 312.836.1041 or email@example.com.
