Not to be frank but, if you have ears and are capable of hearing then you probably love Adele. And if you don’t you should. She is the perfect breathy, cat-eyed hybrid of retro glamour and modern beauty. we love her style, we love her devil-may-care attitude and we LOVE her voice. So we’re joining ranks with the growing group of speculators that the British bombshell may have been picked for the ultra-coveted spot of Vogue’s March 2012 cover. According to WWD, the Conde Nast tome has been reaching out to designers and requesting cover looks in a size 14, which is reportedly Adele’s size. WWD said, “Designers have been asked by the title to make special cover outfits for the full-figured chart-topper for the all-important March issue.” Swoon!
The crooner has had her fair share of trials lately, first undergoing surgery on her vocal chords, and most recently, deciding to move out of her London flat due to the potential damaging effect of the famed London fog. So she probably wouldn’t mind getting all decked out and draped across a chaise for thousands of her devoted fans. Though nothing’s set in stone, it would be huge for Adele to grace that particular glossy, since Vogue‘s March cover is well known for being one of the most ad-heavy of the year, rivaling only the September issues titans. What’s more, this year’s edition will need to compete on newsstands with the newly redesigned covers of both from both Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour, both of which are slated for March as well. Well if anyone can edge out the competition, Adele can!
