For some reason I am digging skirts again. After a few years of hailing the dress…I’m back to the skirt. I just bought a pencil midi skirt at AllSaints and now I’m obsessed. The forgiving cut with a nod to the ’40s is thankfully all the rage right now. What’s a midi skirt you might ask? It’s a skirt that is supposed to fall below-the-knee to about mid-calf. Here however, it is combined with a pencil skirt. The modern take on this retro skirt is centered around the cuts, colors and prints…making it a wardrobe essential for Fall 2011.
