Outfit of The Day: Not Quite Glam (Yet) At a Golden Globes Party

January 17, 2012 • Fashion, Fashion Blog

I can’t believe I dare do this now, because I swore I wouldn’t until I was at my fighting weight. However, since I am on a mission to lose 20 lbs by New York Fashion Week next month, I thought I should let you all see my progress. This was taken Sunday night at the Style Coalition’s Golden Globes party sponsored by Dove. I have already dropped 4.2 lbs on my crazy diet combined with Core Fusion classes at exhale (which I love and hate at the same time!).

I had wanted to wear something a little more glam and worthy of the evening but…One, not much fits yet and Two, it was absolutely freezing in NYC Sunday night. So I at least went with a little sparkle, but kept it casual…and cozy.

Hair by Dove, double chin by genetics!

Lauren, go for it girlfriend! We are right behind you! Given your success so far, after our tweets, I have embarked on a low cal diet & daily walking regime. I have 22 pounds to lose! Ouch! Still trying to shift those post pregnancy pounds. I agree with you, age doesnt’ help.
