There’s blushing news on the horizon for Temperley London. The British-based brand, beloved by Kate Middleton and Kelly Osbourne, has expanded its bridal offering into a full-fledged line with the launch of its first twice-yearly collection in April. The collection, called Ophelia 2012, will launch at Temperley’s own bridal salons in London, Dubai and Los Angeles and at select bridal stores, as well as online retailers like Net-A-Porter, Shopbop.com.
The 20-piece collection will be made up of both entirely new designs and dresses inspired by past Temperley creations, and is priced from $3,370 for the Chloe gown in draped satin through to $10,000 for the Crystal Amara dress, a tulle dress with crystal flower appliqués. Accessories in the line include jeweled headpieces, embellished sashes, veils, shrugs and boleros. In addition to thesemi-annual collection, a line of the label’s classic bridal dresses will be offered from season to season, while Temperley also carries it’s own ready-to-wear gowns that can be worn as bridal dresses.
And fear nit, New Yorkers: if you’re itching to get your hands on a piece of the Temperley London bridal line, the Ophelia collection will also be available at Mark Ingram Atelier and Kleinfeld in New York, starting in April. Here’s hoping we start seeing the new designs on Say Yes To The Dress!
