You can expect a lot of color coming this spring from Ann Taylor! To celebrate the revamping of the Ann Taylor brand, both the Ann Taylor brand and CS Magazine threw a fabulous party to “meet the new Ann!” at the Michigan Avenue Flagship store in downtown Chicago last Friday night. This new concept store offered a more intimate and personal shopping experience for everyone.
Ann Taylor’s main stance on fashion this season is that no woman of any age should be afraid of color. I cannot tell you how many bright blues, yellows, oranges and pinks littered the walls. Many women gasped at how wearable each piece was. Color-blocking is still a big trend this season and now it is easier to wear than ever. Graphic black and white prints also stood out amongst the crowd in figure flattering cuts. Though the Ann Taylor’s target age group skews a bit older, everyone can find something!
The clothing brand partnered with Step Up Women’s Network for the event, in which proceeds of each sale helped unprivileged women. Step Up Women’s Network is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to bringing together professional women and underserved teen girls through mentorship and networking.
