What better way to kick off the Spring season than to see old friends wearing the trendiest ensembles? CheekyChicago.com and Peroni Italy joined forces to bring Chicago the third annual “Real People of Style” at The 900 Shops on Michigan Avenue. “The Real People of Style” featured eight of Chicago’s most fashionable tastemakers, who presented the latest spring trends curated by Evolve.
A tasteful selection of shoes, bags and garments from L.K.Bennett, Karen Millen, Bloomingdale’s and others hit the runway last Thursday night. Stylish attendees enjoyed delectable bites courtesy of Market Bar & Grill, a chocolate station experience from Vosges Haut-Chocolat, and refreshments brought to the party by spring’s most fashionable libation, Peroni Italy. The runway show was styled by Jessi Sheehan of Evolve.
This year’s participants walking the runway included meteorologist of NBC 5 Cheryl Scott, Food & Lifestyle Personality DC Crenshaw, founder of MugShot Monday Lisa Frame, manager of the River North nightclub Board Room James Brown, C/FAN designer Christina Fan, designer Borris Powell, CEO of City Blue Apparel Mallory Ulaszeck and Marketing Director of UBER Chicago Max Crowley.
