I remember when Laura Mercier first came out with their vanilla fragrance I was literally stalking the counter at Bloomingdale’s in Chicago until it arrived for purchase. I think I bought the first bottle at that location. I was even wearing it when I met my husband. It was a man magnet for sure. Since then I have tried other scents in that collection (another favorite is Crème Brûlée), body washes and body lotions. However, I had not tried the body scrub…until recently. Truth be told I usually don’t like body scrubs because I find them harsh and if they have a salt base, I won’t even try it. I had a bad experience with a salt scrub that made me scream in pain and left me with a rash.
I changed my mind once I tried Laura Mercier’s Almond Coconut Milk Scrub. Not only did this polishing scrub smell divine, it gently sloughed my skin and left it silky soft. It is recommended for use every other day but is mild enough for everyday use. It’s comprised of sugar granules and exfoliating beads to gently remove dead skin (no burn) and vitamins A & E protect along with Grape & Olive Oils to soothe, soften & moisturize skin. In fact, I normally douse myself in baby oil before I step out of the shower and don’t need to when I use this product. That says a lot to me.
If Almond Coconut doesn’t do it for you the scrub is also available in Crème de Pistache, Almond Coconut Milk, Crème Brûlée and Fresh Fig.
