Outfit of The Day For June 13, 2012. Styling A Dress Around An Era: The 50s.

June 13, 2012 • Fashion Blog, Outfit Of The Day

You can take a basic dress like this Cynthia Rowley Viscose Dancing Dress and style it many ways. I find that an easy way to style a versatile dress like this is by keeping a common theme. This dress reminds me of the 50’s, so I accessorized with vintage-inspired accessories. The multi-strand beaded necklace was the first piece I liked so I made sure the other items went along with a late 50’s classic theme. With a small ladylike clutch, classic tortoise sunglasses, and wedge sandals, I am ready to go! This basic dress can just as easily be styled as Disco 70’s, Avante Garde, or Boho-Chic by simply changing your accessories.
