Sure, you can get Tom Ford Beauty online at Neiman Marcus; but now you can now try these luxurious products and fragrances first hand at the Michigan Avenue Store in Chicago, the only store in the Midwest to carry this collection. The Tom Ford Beauty team (clad in their adorable “uniforms” designed, of course, by Tom Ford himself) are ready and willing to share their tips and tricks to transform you with this incredible product line!
The collection was created in Fall 2011 and includes a complete wardrobe of lush colors for eyes, lips and nails, as well as complexion perfecting makeup and high performance skin treatments. Tom Ford Executive Director of Global Communications, Katherine Holmes was in Chicago and explained that Tom Ford is big on the concept of contouring makeup, finds eyebrows to be extremely important and has excellent foundations. He started with fragrance in 2010 and Tom Ford is constantly adding to this collection, which has many faithful followers. The fragrances I tested were intense and devine.
You can try bronzers from the The Spring Collection and go for a neutral palette, or go full out glam with intense color with Tom Ford Beauty. The collection truly has something for everyone. Of course the packaging is super streamlined, so you’ll love to pull one his lipsticks out of your handbag! The formulation of both the lipstick and lip gloss is super moisturizing and does not wear off. I know because I tried everything!
When my beauty artist Karishma, asked me if there was a look I wanted to try, I told her I would like a smokey look and to go ahead and put a lot of makeup on me! She blended and blended foundations with brushes and showed me some of the contouring tricks – using one of the best-selling products Shade & Illuminate under the cheekbone, jawbone, near the hairline and even the sides of my nose! She pulled out 2 eyeshadow quads and only used one – Titanium Smoke – and I was totally happy with the look, which was dramatic but something I could wear every day!
