Outfit Of The Day For July 19, 2012. What To Wear Now And Later: Hot Weather Transition Pieces

July 19, 2012 • Fashion Blog, Outfit Of The Day

It may seem too early to worry about hot days in fall, but I realized I have some pieces in my closet I can wear now and again when the season changes. This lightweight peplum jersey top from Torn by Ronnie Kobo with a simple black skirt will work now in July and I can wear it later in September or October since the colors are neutral and don’t scream summer.

Top: Torn by Ronny Kobo, no longer available. This Club L Leopard Peplum Top is very similar, and now only $24.86!

Skirt: MaxStudio Jersey Skirt, no longer available, but they always make a black skirt like this maxstudio.com Silk & Cotton Broadcloth Pencil Skirt, $88.  Or see this Moschino Cheap & Chic Gather Jersey Pencil Skirt, $226.88

Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch, $295 with the chain strap removed, I am carrying it as a clutch!

Bracelet: Nude Enamel Vintage Cuff, my own. See this Tinley Road Enamel Bar Cuff Bracelet, $28 for a similar look.

Necklace: Nashelle, no longer avvailable. See this Kris Nations Large Circle Hoop Necklace, $74.

Shoes: Jeffeey Campbell Black Suede Wedge Sandals, no longer available. See these Pedro Garcia Open Toe Wedge Sandals, now $230.
