Macy’s has a total of 63,000 square feet for shoes. Terry J. Lundgren, Macy’s chairman says, “This is a category that requires excelled salesmanship, a comfortable environment and, very importantly, a wide range of product that cover the styles, assortments and price points for a larger number of customers. We have all that covered.”

Chanel Launches Third Coco Scent

Later this month, the company will release Coco Noir, a homage to Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. Chanel famously said, “a woman who doesn’t wear perfume has no future.” The fragrance is intended to examine the interplay between the light and dark and the luminosity of black and baroque elements.
