The great thing about the launch of fall campaigns is that they’re released when it’s still summer! Which is exactly what got us excited when we heard the party for Gap’s #Shine Fall Campaign would be held at Gallow Green, the newly opened rooftop of the vintage McKittrick Hotel. Stepping out into the vine-laden terrace at sunset was truly a slice of summertime heaven. The spacious terrace was set up as a sort of old-fashioned country soiree, with the fading sun streaking distressed the distressed wood and tendrils of ivy.
On a casual stage, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers sang folksy and country-tinged tunes. People’s Pops made flavored shaved ice from a giant ice cube and lanterns hung over a floor that was accented with vintage railroad tracks. And on top of the amazing setting and lovely music, Gap even gave us a sneak peek of their fall 2012 collection! So break out a notepad and start jotting down your wishlist now because these pieces will be hitting stores soon! Enjoy!
