Lana Del Rey became a worldwide star earlier this year with her single, “Video Games,” and now she’s set to be the face and the voice of H&M. Lana is known for her distinct personal style and for this campaign she’ll wear the best of H&M’s fall fashions. However, she will not only star in a print campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, but also a full length video where she will sing a cover of “Blue Velvet,” directed by Johan Renck.
The music video featuring Lana will be available at hm.com from September 19, with edited versions airing as television campaigns. The rising music star will also appear in a second print campaign for H&M winter fashion which will appear in October.
Beginning November 1, a new attitude filled collection for girls hits H&M this fall designed by Divided Grey. The collection features detail-rich pieces in shades of gray and black which include skinny jeans, ankle boots, fine knits, a draped blazer and a biker jacket in leather.
Also for Fall, H&M is introducing a collection for the entire family. Their “Fashion Family” line features sleek looks for women including: skinny trousers, a collarless faux fur jacket and more. For men, they channeled a more relaxed look and “mini-me” versions of the adult collection for boys and girls.
AND finally a little treat for us all – because of the success of his bodywear collection for H&M, our favorite foreign footballer, David Beckham, is coming out with a new campaign. These advertisements will focus on the form and fit of the underwear classics that make up his bodywear range (YES!)
