I tried the Chocolate Chip Blondies because I love chocolate chip cookies, I know that bars are easy to make and this recipe uses Stevia In The Raw®, so these bars have 1/3 less sugar. Hey, let’s save on calories where we may, right? And you can do that without sacrificing flavor. If you use dark (63%) chocolate chips, the bars will contain even less sugar.

Ingredients to make Stevia In The Raw® Chocolate Chip Blondies

I use a tape measure from my sewing box to measure the parchment paper.

I admit, I don’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so I was a bit worried since I never used parchment paper before. When the recipe called for a 7″ length,  I whipped out my trusty tape measure from my sewing box! Along with a little cooking spray, the parchment actually made this recipe even easier! There was no stick nor mess.

7″ length of parchment fit perfectly in the 8″square pan

1/2 cup of Stevia In The Raw® makes the recipe sweet with 1/3 less sugar!

It was easy to mix the bars all in one bowl.

Use electric mixer to beat butter, sugar and Stevia In The Raw®, egg, molasses, vanilla, flour, and salt. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.

Cookie dough anyone?

Mmm…I give this recipe a high cookie dough rating!

Spread the batter into the pan.

Pop into a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.

I could have taken them out at about 5 minutes sooner, but they were still great!

Cool and cut into 16 pieces.

Cutting the bars into 16 pieces.

This would make a great glamor shot for the Au Natural App!

Ready to serve!

I tasted the Chocolate Chip Blondies while they were still a bit warm and they were yummy!

I think the recipe is a success – and pretty fool-proof if I was able to make them! These bars taste a lot like chocolate chip cookies, and the pecans really give them a lot of added flavor. I can’t wait to serve these to my friends and family, who will love to know that they were made with Stevia In The Raw and 1/3 less sugar!
