Summary: When it comes to color and beauty, like a perfect floral arrangement, no one presents a show with so much attention to details as Son Jung Wan. The entire presentation looked so effortless, as the models floated down the runway like flowers in the wind. There was movement in the layers of light fabrics and an eye candy explosion of jewel tones and shimmering neutrals. Extremely well known in Korea, I had the honor of meeting Son Jung Wan at her first collection at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week for Spring 2012, which gave me a better understanding of her approach. She likes to experiment with shapes, fabrics, textures, and hand decorating. She use colors from nature and includes, my personal favorite, metallics! Son Jung Wan’s touch of bling almost boarders on too much, but she knows just where to stop so each look stays elegant. She understands what girls like (shiny and colorful things) and always keeps it cool and pretty.
