Max Factor Signs Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow will star in a six-month Max Factor campaign that launches in November. She will model looks created by Max Factor’s makeup artists to reflect the different aspects of Paltrow’s life. A spokeswoman for Max Factor said the firm’s relationship with Paltrow will be long-term.
Esi Eggleston Bracey, vice president of Max Factor, said “It was magical to see these creative forces come together.”
Style.com Launching in Middle East
Style.com has entered an agreement with Nervora to launch Style.com Arabia, which is based in Dubai. It is the first Conde Nast Publication Inc. title to have a presence in both the Middle East and North America.
The site will launch in October in both Arabic and English. Style.com Arabia will have the same news content, coverage of runway shows and street style. Gina Sanders, president and chief executive offer at Fairchild Fashion Media said, “For more than a decade, Style.com has established itself as an unequivocal leader and innovator in digital fashion coverages. Through the partnership with Nervora, we are able to deepen our presence in this flourishing fashion market as well as expand our ever-growing global reach.”
Takada Unveils Jewelery Line
Kenzo Takada, who retired from his namesake house Kenzo, is designing a jewelry collection with the private atelier 10 Royale. The collection consists of 20 pieces of high end jewelry in white gold, diamond and rubies. The overall theme of the collection is “Floral blooming”. He is a very busy man even after his retirement. Takada stated, “I enjoy working with different craftmen, and different know-how.”
