Scotland Re:Designed came to the Loop last week as part of the Ryder Cup celebrations. The exhibit showcased five of Scotland’s most promising or noted established designers that were hand selected by an international panel of fashion and textile experts. All of the items displayed were intended to offer a sampling of the designers work to the trade, buyers and media in Chicago, but also were for sale or available by special order. I had the pleasure getting a glimpse of the designer’s creations, and you can check them out for yourself!
Judy R. Clark – Harris Tweed and Vintage Lace Womenswear
Red Brick – Accessories
Eribe’ – Traditional Knitting Techniques and Contemporary Styling
Obscure Couture – Victorian Indulgence with Punk Rock Rebellion
Iona Crawford Interiors – The Art of Living
