The Chicago-based RoomPlace is celebrating their 100 Year Anniversary with 100 Acts of Kindness. From October through December, employees of The RoomPlace are participating in acts of kindness around the community, including furniture donations to local establishments in need such as homeless shelters, fire departments and nursing homes. The employees are also volunteering a total of 100 hours of their time to organizations of their choice.
If you live in the Chicago area, you are probably familiar with the RoomPlace. Today the family-owned brand has 20 locations throughout Illinois and Indiana and are celebrating this milestone with over 650 employees. The RoomPlace has been providing furniture needs since 1912, when door-to-door salesman Sam Berman decided to create a store that would provide a personalized, comfortable and affordable furniture shopping experience for customers.
When you visit The RoomPlace today, the same philosophy continues. Each showroom features fully furnished, coordinated rooms designed by their very own team of skilled designers. Check out The Enzo II Collection, above!
