Clocks Move Back For Couture
Talk about short notice! Yesterday, Armani Privé set back the time of today’s couture show for the second time. The show will now begin at 6:30 p.m. The reasoning behind this scheduling change was cited as climatic conditions.
Alexandre Vauthier, which is right after Armani Privé, and Bouchra Jarrar, which follows Alexandre Vauthier, have to be moved back an additional half hour. A spokesman for Alexandre Vauthier previously said that the transportation of the models from one show to the other was the likely issue. No one ever said fashion was easy!

Betsey Johnson Won’t Be Showing At New York Fashion Week
It seems like the end of an era, but Betsey Johnson will not be doing her signature cartwheels down the runway this upcoming Fashion Week. The company made the announcement yesterday. Last year Betsey Johnson LLC filed for bankruptcy and was taken over by Steve Madden. It closed its stores across the country to focus on a new line at Macy’s and other retailers set to launch next month.
