Peter Som Takes To The Internet For New York Fashion Week

Although Peter Som won’t be participating in a live runway show, his designs won’t go unseen. Som’s latest collection can be viewed online at DigitalFashionShows.com. This idea that was created by KCD along with King + Partners has taken away the hassle of producing a live show.

Other designers not quite really for the full production of a live show are implementing this easier alternative too. Among these are: Alexandre Plokhov and Pierre Balmain.

Armani Thieves Arrested

In December, 1,378 items from Giorgio Armani’s spring collection were smuggled from Italy to Bucharest. However,  reports released on Monday stated that 10 Romanian citizens had been arrested in Bucharest for stealing about $2.7 million worth of Armani merchandise.

The items were taken from a  trading spot in Verona, Italy. The confiscation of these illegally obtained designer garments was brought about through the investigations led by the Romanian police.

I have nothing else to add to this topic other the need to further understand it. Two things I like about the post, one it is straight forward and two it does not attempt to promote anyone’s position particularly. Nice work Jamie.
