Excuse the iPhone photo, but I just couldn’t lug my camera around for a short day (for me). I was only going to a couple of shows and I was freezing so most of the outfits I had planned for the week were completely unappealing. It’s really not like me to wear jeans to Fashion Week, but I have a new obsession with boyfriend jeans and it was the perfect day to wear them. Besides, once I walked into Lincoln Center jeans were everywhere! Especially destroyed ones. So I felt more comfortable than anticipated. I quickly regretted my choice in footwear, however. I had never worn my Maison Martin Margiela for H&M for more than an hour or two and after a few hours in these Lucite heel bad boys I was nearly crippled in pain and hobbling. C’est la vie in fashion.
