New Fragrance: Coach Love

Last week, Coach launched Coach Love just in time for Valentine’s Day. The scent furthers the brand’s mission to represent all sides of a woman’s personality, said Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, global brand president of Coach’s scent license company. “Our first pillar, called Signature internally, represents classic elegance. Poppy, another pillar, is intended to be playful and youthful. Coach Love, our newest addition, is intended to address the romantic side of a woman’s personality.” The signature scent is a floral, while Poppy is a fruity floral fragrance. Gabai-Pinsky calls the contemporary romantic sensual woody floral “modern love in a bottle.”

London’s Turn for the Fashion Spotlight

London Fashion Week, which kicked off on Friday, is moving into a new age of celebrity, financial savvy and self-confidence thanks to a mix of newcomers who are willing this city, a longtime incubator for emerging talent, to compete on an international scale.

We can’t wait to see the dazzling creations London has to show the world!

Matthew McConaughey Throws Muscle Behind New Apparel Collection

Even though Matthew McConaughey is known for taking off his clothes in “Magic Mike,” this spring he’s going to encourage everyone to get dressed in his new line of men’s wear, called JKL. The collection sportswear is named for McConaughey’s charity, the Just Keep Livin Foundation, which was founded in 2008 after the death of his father. The foundation is dedicated to helping kids grow into healthy adults by teaching the importance of decision making, health, education, and staying active. JKL sportswear and swimwear will launch exclusively in 150 Dillard’s stores next month and will be offered to retailers for fall.

“In 1992 my father moved on and Just Keep Livin came to be,” McConaughey told WWD in a phone interview from New Orleans, where he’s filming the HBO miniseries “True Detective.” “It was about keeping his spirit alive and remembering the things he taught me.” The tag line is a “compass for me,” he added, “and is how I approach life.”
