After 14 years, Kirna Zabête will be expanding in May. The flagship Kirna Zabête, will boast a 10,000-square-foot space located at 477 Broome Street. The new venue which is twice as large as the brand’s original location at 96 Greene Street will have three to four times more selling space.
The rapidly expanding business has outgrown its former space. Since their collaboration with Target as a part of The Shops at Target in September, the company has continued to move forward.
“The additional square footage of the new store will make a massive, significant difference,” Beth Buccini, who co-owns the store with Sarah Easley said. “We’ll have an eveningwear section where gowns can hang properly and a swimwear section.”
Steven Gambrel, who is designing 2.0 with Buccini and Easley, will have his first taste of designing for retail.
“The new store will be a different experience for our loyal ladies,” Easley said. “We’ll offer warm hospitality, but the design will reflect the 41-year-old ladies we’ve become.”
Buccini and Easley in September collaborated with Target as part of The Shops at Target, where store owners were tapped to design products.
