You don’t have to be a Pisces to love the new 18K Fish Collection by one of our favorite jewelry lines, Me&Ro. It’s the epitome of cool. I bought my first piece of Me&Ro at Barneys in Chicago about 10 years ago and I still adore that necklace (The Fearlessness necklace BEFORE Mariska Hargitay wore it on SVU) the line as much today as I did then.

In the Chinese culture, the fish is revered as a symbol of unity and wealth and a pair of fish is a token of love, abundance, and renewal. In Taoist culture, they represent a higher wisdom. The skin of fish lends itself perfectly to jewelry as fish scales are phosphorescent and are highly reflective just like gold. A Tiny diamond adorns the eye of each fish, while pieces have scattered diamonds across their scales pave set, mimicking glistening scales in the water. How can you resist?

Designer and owner, Robin Renzi was inducted into the CFDA in 2008. She’sinspired by the human need both to adorn and to communicate through jewelry. After a successful dance career, Me&Ro was born in the back of her Elizabeth Street apartment (NYC)  in the summer of 1991. Now the line is a celebrity favorite and is featured in more fashion magazines (and sites like ours) than you can fathom. We admire someone who can have two successful careers.
