Chloé Adds Skin Care in Asia

Chloé is expanding its beauty presence with fragrance and facial skin care in Asia. The brand will launch the Crème de la Rose skin-care collection in two Japanese stores on April 17th. More Japanese stores will open in September with Korea following in October. Many designer fragrance assortments include body lotion and shower gel, however few have a facial skin care product.

“Chloé fragrance’s leading market position in Japan, and Japanese consumer’s passion for skin care sparked the idea of the line,” said Françoise Mariez, senior vice president of marketing at Coty Prestige. “This allows us to take advantage of the love for the fragrance brand in a market that is primarily driven by skin care.”

Jo Malone’s Red Roses Fragrance Gets a Makeover

Charlotte Stockdale joined Jo Malone London as style editor in January last year and has designed a limited-edition bottle. Stockdale used her favorite Jo Malone fragrance, Red Roses for the 300 individually engraved bottles hand-dipped in neon pink paint.

The fragrance features an exclusive rose print that also adorns a scented scatter cushion, a scented sachet, and the pouch for the 30ml cologne bottle. The scented accessories make use of new technology with gel beads that have been soaked in fragrance oil for 12 hours. For one week at Selfridges’ London branch, the limited edition 100 ml Red Roses cologne will retail for $179.
