Some people say “If you keep it long enough, it will come back in style again.” I usually answer “Not always…exactly!” However, I’m glad I kept a few pieces from a trip to Italy in 1989. My sister, my best friend and I went on a journey which included finding “The Loehman’s of Milan” where I bought this silk jacket and wide obi belt. I didn’t think of wearing them together back then, but I did today! I removed the shoulder pads from the jacket and used the belt to give its retro “big look” some shape.
