Yes, you read that correctly. I, Lauren Dimet Waters, foundation snob, am loving COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation today…and well for the past several days. OK, weeks.
By now everyone who reads Second City Style knows I am a dedicated and loyal fan of Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I have been using it for nearly nine years now and even though my job requires I try and test other foundations, I always come back to my beloved Armani. I receive countless pitches that such and such foundation is better, but it never is. It costs a pretty penny, but I don’t care when it comes to my face. I’ll spend it!
Well last month I attended a P&G Red Carpet Event where I had a little makeover with COVERGIRL makeup. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not against drugstore makeup. In fact, I think COVERGIRL’s Clump Crusher mascara is one of the best on the market today. I’m just really bad at picking out the right foundation color for my skintone and rely on the (I hope) expert behind the makeup counter to help me. Any other makeup I can pick out, but foundation confounds me. I digress. When the makeup artist put some Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation on me I made sure to make note of the shade she used, just in case.
I didn’t think much more about it, until I received my boxes of makeup to test for our upcoming Second City Style Beauty Olympics. I noticed my shade of Outlast Stay Fabulous was in my bag of foundations I had to test, rate and review. So I tried it again and guess what? It’s truly fabulous! It’s not oily, light as air, but covers flawlessly and lasts all day! So I couldn’t wait to share this discovery with our loyal readers. The results from our Beauty Olympics won’t be published until later next month!
Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation creates a smooth, flawless look that lasts all day through capturing the essence of a primer, foundation and concealer in one bottle. The patented formula provides full coverage with a lightweight, blendable application. The foundation sets the look like a primer, corrects imperfections like a concealer and perfects with a beautiful, matte finish. I don’t even have to touch up with added concealer to cover imperfections (yes, I have some). Additionally, it includes broad spectrum SPF 20!
The Science of 3-in-1
Advanced flexi-hold polymer technology sets the foundation in place, immobilizing other foundation ingredients, yet allowing film to move with the face and remain flexible for a lightweight feel.
Microscopic topography modifiers gently disrupt the surface of foundation film to diffuse light and create a soft, matte finish.
Micro-correctors conceal imperfections as they work to instantly provide coverage and a matte finish through absorbing and removing excess oil and sebum from the skin. The correctors provide opacity, so more product can be spot applied for added concealment of imperfections.
Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation just came out this past January and is available in 14 shades. At about $10 a bottle I am sure to save enough to get a new handbag in year. Money I would have spent on Armani Foundation! I promise you will love it too. Today and everyday.
