So what’s so wrong with see-through pants? I see bums every time I go to the gym. Yet, Lululemon Athletica, who famously recalled shipments of women’s pants for being too sheer last month, has given their Chief Product Officer Sheree Waterson her walking papers. Guess there is no surprise there.
According to the NY Post Waterson will leave April 15, after having been with the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company for 5 years. Mind you, the company is claiming they are just ‘reorganizing,’ but the timing smells a little fishy.
Just in case you recently bought a pair of black Lululemon Luon pants (the style accounts for 17% of all the pants the company sells) you may want to return them before you cause yourself undo embarrassment. Or if you like to make a fashion statement by letting it all show, keep them! But, don’t rush out the get a pair. The defective pants (that “had an unacceptable level of sheerness”) have been removed from store shelves.
