Makeup artist and beauty guru Edward Bess launched a Black Sea-inspired foundation collection last night on QVC. This is an extension of Bess’ namesake skincare line, which launched seven years ago at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Sephora. The foundation is $75 and will be sold exclusively on QVC for one year.

The company is currently located at 575 Fifth Avenue and has leased 402,000 square feet of office space in the South Tower of the Hudson Yards development at 30th Street and 10th Avenue. The beauty company will move at the end of 2015 when the lease expires on their present location.
Fleur du Mal to Launch a Bridal Line
Fleur du Mal, the lingerie and ready-to-wear line by Kiki de Montparnasse founder Jennifer Zuccarini, is launching a bridal collection in June. The line consists of 15 pieces and was designed for the modern bride in mind. The pieces will retail from $45 to $500, and feature white French lace bras, panties and garter belts for the more traditional bride, but there’s also a mint green high-waisted panty with black lacing, and a pink chiffon romper.
The company is also launching a custom service where a bride can provide excess material from her dress or veil to be made into a lingerie set. Zuccarini was also inspired to design this collection by her own impending nuptials to Vanity Fair publisher Edward Menicheschi next month in St. Barth’s.
