Kimberly Ovitz Taking a Break from Ready-To-Wear

Kimberly Ovitz is taking a time-out from designing looks for her own line and won’t produce a fall collection. “We are in the process of exploring new opportunities for the label and will not be fulfilling orders for the fall line at this time. We will be working on a number of collaborations and initiatives, including a new collection with Shapeways, which we hope to roll out soon,” said Ovitz in a statement. The designer sold pieces from her collection to Saks Fifth Avenue, Shopbop, Owen, Curve, Madison, and Elyse Walker. The looks were also available at

According to WWD, she will likely return to designing her own RTW looks in a season or two. Ovitz’s website will remain active and she will continue to sell her jewelry. Ovitz is negotiating several partnerships for a makeup line and handbag collection in the near future.

Rochas Launches Second Les Cascades Fragrance

Rochas is introducing the second version of its Les Cascades women’s fragrance, called Songe d’Iris. The fragrance’s key note is iris, which is mixed with white aqueous flowers and fig milk. Olivia Palermo remains the face of the Les Cascades fragrances.

Bottles of Songe d’Iris retail for $62.80 for a 50 ml. and $94.25 for a 100 ml. The fragrance is currently available for purchase exclusively in France’s Marionnaud shops. It will hit stores worldwide on July 1.

Toms & Jonathan Adler Collaborate on Sunglasses

Toms has teamed with Jonathan Adler on a collection of sunglasses. The unisex eyewear collection includes three silhouettes in red, white and blue, as well as eyewear cases. Each sunglass frame comes emblazoned with the motto “our glasses make you look smarter” on the inner temple. They are also accompanied by an embroidered eyewear case featuring a colorful needlepoint design by Adler.

The collection will retail from $169 to $179, with the stand-alone case priced at $42. The collaboration is available in June at, the Toms flagship store in Venice, California, and Jonathan Adler boutiques. Continuing their One for One program, Toms will help to give sight to someone in need with every purchase.
