Forgive me, readers! I’m sorry to be bringing swimwear to the forefront of your minds so early in the season. Don’t worry, I’m not ready either and we all still have plenty of time to get ourselves mentally and emotionally stable for beach season. And now, having said that, it’s really not often that I come across a swim wear design that makes me stop and smile and coo at it as if it were an infant. But there was just something about this collaboration between chic pajama-inspired brand Piamita and famed Brazilian swim label Jo De Mer that’s so fun and flirty and “frisky”. Frisky meaning, the adorable Tangatito cat print (modeled after founder Cecilia de Sola’s cat, Geisha) that became the label’s signature print on their pajama separates and now translates so well over into swim. Being terribly allergic to the ones in real life, I’ll take my cats on swimwear any day. The ‘Coco’ bikini (above) is a chic, modern bandeau shape though the print and black white and pink color scheme also comes in the ‘Capri, a traditional triangle bikini, as well.
The Piamita x Jo De Mer collaboration bikinis are launching today on www.Edition01.com for $225-$250, so jump start your swimwear wardrobe and snap one up right “meow”!
