The Thing I’m Loving Today: Clover Canyon Eye Of The Tiger Kimono

June 20, 2013 • Fashion Blog, Shopping

Growing up in Northern California, I have a particular fondness and nostalgia for going to the beach. There’s nothing like feeling warm sand between my toes (even if that means possibly tracking it into my home later) and swimming in the cool water on a hot day. So naturally, I also love a good cover-up – something that’s cute and easy to slip off so I can run into the water.

This kimono by Clover Canyon fits the bill, and more – it’s absolutely lovely! What really caught my eye is its elegant draping and semi-sheer fabric. It shows a hint of skin while still offering a little protection from the sun. It has a unique, abstract pattern, and the panels of black fabric make for a really great contrast. Paired with a bathing suit, sandals, floppy hat and sunglasses, the kimono begets a really chic, comfortable outfit. Plus, it can also be a beautiful robe to wear around the house.

Your blog is great. Two things I like about the post, one it is straight forward and two it does not attempt to promote anyone’s position particularly. Well put Tanisha.
