Fashion Brands Try Out Instagram’s New Video Feature

June 21, 2013 • Fashion Blog, Fashion News, Social Media

With the growing popularity of video sharing thanks to cool, new mobile apps like Keek and Vine, Instagram joined the movement Thursday.

Instagram updated its app, allowing users to not only upload photos but also videos. Burberry, Michael Kors, Dannijo and Diane Von Furstenberg were some of the first fashion brands to try out the app’s latest upgrade.

Burberry posted behind the scene clips of the Prosum Menswear Spring/ Summer 2014 show, while Michael Kors played around with its video using hash tags like #InstaKors. Dannijo modeled some of its latest jewelry in its video, and Diane Von Furstenberg showed followers what most inspires her – nature.

The latest from Instagram is certainly a step up from Keek and Vine with its 13 brand new filters, focus and exposure adjustments.

Be sure to check out some of these first videos for yourself on Instagram. Following these fashion brands just got way more fun! We can’t wait to see what the fashion brands post next!
