That’s right honey. I’m in love with a fragrance called Honey and the truth is, I really don’t even like honey. Luckily, this newest scent from Marc Jacobs doesn’t smell like it’s name. Needless to say I was a little hesitant to try HONEY MARC JACOBS. I certainly didn’t want to smell like it nor attract bees. However, I am happy to report that it actually makes the perfect summer scent.
Released July 7, 2013, HONEY MARC JACOBS is DOT’s vibrant, bold, and spontaneous new little sister. Frankly, I prefer this lighter scent over the others in the collection, but that’s me. With bold stripes and polka dots, the bottle channels the playful imagination of DOT while adding her own golden touch. How does it smell? It’s a light, fresh floral. The top notes are pear, fruity punch and juicy mandarin. The heart notes are very feminine and include orange blossom, peach nectar and honeysuckle. The base or dry down is warm consisting of honey, golden vanilla and smooth woods.
My new favorite scent…who knew?
