This may mean less groundbreaking designs, but the new, less frilly couture is boosting sales.

Bill And Hillary Clinton Honor Oscar de la Renta
During the opening reception of Oscar de la Renta’s new exhibit in Little Rock, Arkansas on Monday, Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton lauded de la Renta for his contributions to fashion, his loyal friendship and philanthropic efforts. The exhibit, “Oscar de la Renta: American Icon” at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center, follows the designer’s life, beginning with his native Dominican Republic. But it mainly showcases his beautiful designs from the last decade, with gowns worn by Chelsea Clinton, Taylor Swift, Jessica Chastain, and more.
