I was given the 16” Ombre Extension ($49) to try. Available in 6 colors (black plum, chocolate, caramel, champagne, hazel and honey), this multi-level, 16” clip-in extension not only gave me a longer length, but gave me that ombre look I was trying to achieve. I’ve actually had my extension sitting in the box for weeks, but since I rarely dare to straighten my hair in the summer it took me forever to try them. I took the opportunity this past weekend when I had my hair colored and blown out. In fact, I brought it to the salon with me and had my stylist put it on. He was actually impressed with the quality of the hair and the ease of attaching it.
Since I highlight the heck out of my hair, the effect was not so dramatic, but you get the idea. At least I had a long head of hair for an evening!
