Hermès Expanding in the US
The luxury brand’s newly renovated Beverly Hills flagship store will open in September. With 12,000-square-feet, it has twice the amount of selling space as its former store. Modern and luxurious, the space features a marble facade and glass panels for wi-fi. In 2012, Hermès reportedly shelled out $75 million to buy the property at 434 North Rodeo Drive. Hermès is not new to Beverly Hills however; its first store opened there 41 years ago. Two more locations are set to open in the fall in Miami and Atlanta.
Garance Doré Signs Book Deal
After launching her website seven years ago, Garance Doré has finally inked a book deal. The Parisian fashion fixture has has signed with Random House’s Spiegel & Grau for her untitled book. Similar to her blog, Doré’s forthcoming book will feature photos, illustrations, and thoughts on lifestyle, fashion, and beauty.
H&M Unveils Latest David Beckham Campaign
H&M’s latest campaign for David Beckham Bodywear evokes the feeling of old London. Shot by photographer Josh Olins, the images debut today in print, online, and in windows and stores. The line of tank tops, sweat pants, and raglan-sleeve knits reflect his personal wardrobe choices. “No matter how many campaigns I do for H&M, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing my image on huge billboards everywhere,” Beckham confessed. The collection is the soccer star’s fourth for the Swedish retailer.
