Jennifer Lopez Continues to Grow Fragrance Lineup
This October, Jennifer Lopez will release her twentieth fragrance which will be sold exclusively at Kohl’s counters. The fruity floral citrus fragrance has top notes of white raspberry, frozen pineapple, pink grapefruit and tangerine; a heart of coconut orchid, water lily and Tahitian tiare, and a drydown of vanilla sorbet, white wood and skin musk. A 1-oz. eau de parfum will sell for $39, while a 1.7-oz. bottle will retail for $49.
Essie Adds Professional Service to its Repertoire
With the goal of increasing its salon presence and stepping up the gel manicure experience, Essie will introduce its first professional gel service, Essie Gel, in October. The gel includes a keratin technology, which delivers pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E for nail conditioning. The service is $35 and will be available at all nail bars and full-service salons carrying the Essie brand nationally.
Tom Ford Expands Madison Avenue Flagship
The company has completed a multiphase renovation of its original New York flagship that began in January and expands its size from 8,680 square feet to more than 13,000 square feet. The increase comes from annexing space on the second floor that was previously occupied.
Along with the extra space comes a new floor plan, with women’s wear occupying the entire first floor and all men’s wear now situated on the second floor. New furnishings, fixtures and decor were also part of the flagship’s facelift. In addition to this expansion, Tom Ford plans on growing even more this year with the addition of 18 more retail locations and shop-in-shops.
