Saks Features Dior in Store Windows

Visitors to the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in NYC can see the new windows coinciding with New York Fashion Week and featuring Dior. The fashion house’s windows at Saks features surrealist touches, French moldings, and invisible mannequins and spans 17 windows on Fifth Avenue, 49th and 50th Streets. The Dior fall women’s ready-to-wear collection by Raf Simons, fine jewelry, and men’s wear are all featured. The house of Dior has also been featured in windows at Printemps in Paris, Harrods in London, and GUM in Moscow.

Editorialist and CFDA Collaborate

The accessories magazine and website Editorialist has partnered with the CFDA to feature American accessories designers in an “Accessories Spotlight” feature on The series includes a bio on each designer and debuted this month with a capsule collection from jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning. Exclusive to the website, the collection includes gorgeous gold and diamond earrings and a beautiful gold and opal necklace. Prices range from $375 to $4,663.

Pantone Shares Top Spring 2014 Colors

Pantone’s top 10 colors for spring for both women and men feature a range of hues. Dazzling Blue comes in first for women, with a more subtle Violet Tulip in second and a bright Radiant Orchid in third. A soft Placid Blue tops the men’s list, followed by Paloma, an earthy gray, and Dazzling Blue.
