Say so long to the wedge sneaker! It’s been replaced. The slip-on sneaker is the new fashion editor favorite. We get it’s nothing new, but think hard. Who wore them mostly? You guessed it…men. But leave it to Céline to introduce a $720 version for Spring/Summer ’12. Then Zara hopped on it (as they always do) and suddenly they were accessible. It took a couple of seasons for other designers to catch on, but now the slip-on sneaker seems to be everywhere. Thank God because they are much more comfortable and easier to get on than the wedge. Not to mention, you don’t need socks. How should you wear your slip-on sneakers? Any way you want, just not with shorts. Try them with jeans, your favorite baggy pants or a menswear-style suit!
