The designer known for his textured bags and accessories is now delving into the world of shoes. Making a successful test run for the fall, Jérôme Dreyfuss is now gearing up for a full-fledged footwear collection set to debut in January 2014.
“This project has been in the works for quite a while,” he said. “I really wanted to define and complete the Jérôme Dreyfuss aesthetic.”
The spring 2014 line, which will includes eight styles of flats, heels, wedges, and boots, will have a variety of designs from jewel-tone sandals to perforated leather boots. To help create the shoes, Dreyfuss tapped into his purse designing expertise by borrowing the double rivets, zippers and other details seen on his handbags.
With a sale price ranging from $495 to $750, be prepared to splurge when collection becomes available at the top of next year.
