Topshop has announced its new chief marketing director – Sheena Sauvaire.
Working as the marketing director for the fashion brand for six years, Sauvaire worked on several projects that sprung the company forward. For example, she spearheaded the Kate Moss collaboration, the building of flagship stores and units across the globe and the Topshop NEWGEN initiative, which supports design talent at London Fashion Week.
“My tenure is not going to be about repositioning the brand or reinventing the wheel but building on the success that we have already achieved,” said Sauvaire.
A former group account director at the London-based communications agency Exposure, Sauvaire joins the Topshop board of executives and owners, including Sir Philip Green. “She has extensive knowledge of this brand both in the U.K. and internationally, and has been instrumental in all campaigns over the last six years,” said Green.
Sauvaire succeeds Justin Cooke who left the company to launch Innovate7, an advertising and marketing agency.
